Responsibilities:
- A major part of your responsibility will be to apply current skills and use up-to-date technologies to complete projects as part of the design and development of application related solutions including:
• maintain our visual language
• ensure visual and brand consistency
• assist in styling component widgets and user interface screens
• design icon and optimize our iconography library
• maintain and manage graphical software assets
• as needed, create style guides and pixel perfect specifications for iconography, web framework components, and application user interfaces.
• enhance current visual style guides, and further evolve them
• collaborate with local and remote designers
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a UI designer on enterprise software is required. More experience is preferred.
• Fluency in current graphic design practices and using web production software, such as Adobe CS
• Demonstrated ability to create superior, original designs for enterprise software
• Demonstrated design style and conceptual skills, including an understanding of usability best practices
• Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML and CSS
• Understanding of - and experience in - corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media.
• Web production skills – slicing and optimizing images for web (must)
• Print production skills – preparing files for print (plus)
• Conceptual skills – conceptual thinker (must)
• Drawing skills – creating icons, diagrams and illustrations based on existing style (plus)
• Understanding of branding and ability to follow a style guide (must)
• Detail oriented (must)
• Fluent English speaking and writing |
