| Job Summary Take a lead role in the automation development and execution aspects of voice, data and video products. This person will be responsible for developing automation solutions, scripts, database and tools, reporting issues and providing troubleshooting support to design engineers during the integration and SQA cycles of voice, data and video products. Key Duties & Responsibilities (in decreasing Critical Emphasis order) Design, implement, test and document automation solutions, scripts, equipment drivers and tools to validate correct operation of embedded. Firmware for high-speed data cable modems and Voice-over-IP telephony based products. Execute automated scripts and analyze results to provide debug information to designers. Provide troubleshooting and debugging support to design engineers during the early integration cycle of Touchstone products. Provide troubleshooting and aid in investigation of SQA and field issue resolution. Formal Education BSEE, BSCS Formal Training VoIP Experience (type & duration) Linux - 3 years, Tcl - 3 years (strongly preferred), 801.11n, routing protocols Preferred Formal Education MSEE Formal Training DOCSIS, PacketCable Experience (type & duration) 5 years PacketCable experience Skills Tcl, SNMP, DHCP, TCP/IPAccreditation/certifications/licenses Preferred Skills IPv6 |
