Job Description
Sales Engineer(SC)
Responsibilities:
1. Individual contributors responsible for selling Dell's full product and service lines (face-to-face) to new and existing customers in specified segments. Solution and relationship focused.
2· Provides in depth technical and architectural sales expertise in enterprise/client opportunities.  May be an enterprise specialist (Networking and/or Storage).
3· Provided leadership to ensure that the Dell enterprise solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer expectations and meet customer business needs.
4· Builds trust with customers and owns technical side of customer relationships.
5· Focused on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards.
6· Ensures the Dell Account Executive understands and meets customers' on-going enterprise/client product/services needs.

Qualifications:

1. Articulates how the Dell business model relates to selling enterprise/client product solutions.
2. Direct interface is with customer technical staff and Help Desk functions.
3. Identifies appropriate enterprise solutions to meet the full range of customer needs.
4. Identifies cost effective and practical "solutions" to maximize Dell's opportunity while meeting customer's needs.
5. Models effective team behavior.
6. Skillfully negotiates with others to achieve desired results/meet customer needs.
7. Explains where enterprise/client products and services fit into customer's IT structure.
8. Has fundamental knowledge of the Dell business model and can articulate the impact and advantages to the customer.
9. Has fact-based industry knowledge.
