MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:
1. Interpret and implement specifications for products to determine performance requirements to meet customer expectations.
2. Lead FMEA, Control Plan development and process development teams.
3. Coordinate internal and external system & process audits.
4. Coordinate and monitor product/process change, quality alert for production.
5. Implement, promote and assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including training for ongoing improvements.
6. Develop report and communications internally, including highlighted issues, process PPM, failure rates other reports including quality metric reports.
7. Lead and recommend for customer, internal and supplier corrective and preventive actions.
8. Coordinate the control, calibration, and usage of inspection gauges and equipments.
9. Perform process capability studies.
10. To maintain control, through SPC charting, cost of quality and quality index reporting and reaction plan.
11. To train and promote employees quality requirement, awareness.
12. Able to perform night shift duty/rotation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Educational: Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent years of related experience.
Experience.
- Technical degree in Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical 5-8 or more years working experience.
- Technical higher diploma with more than 5 years manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in industry environment and widely involve in quality-related activities such as SPC, PFMEA, 8D, Control Plan, Process Flow, audit.
Experience background in mechanical assembly in an automotive industry is an added advantage.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
1.Good English comprehension.
2.Bilingual in Chinese and English is desired.
3.Analytical problem solving. |
