MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:
1. Coordinates production activities with support functions such as maintenance, materials, manufacturing engineering, quality, safety etc.
2. Responsible for managing scrap, hourly production rate to standard, efficiency, downtime and overtime.
3. Directs activities through manufacturing leadership to attain production goals consistent with cost,
quality, and delivery objectives.
4. Responsible for developing the leadership skills of the Group Leaders through coaching, training,
motivating and counseling.
5. Assists in achieving manufacturing business objectives and serves as the point person for driving Lean
initiatives such as pull, 5S, 7 kinds of waste, etc.
6. Responsible for addressing and resolving employee, process, and quality issues in a timely manner.
7. Ensures open lines of communication among shifts, with the Manufacturing Manager and all appropriate
support personnel.
8. Responsible for meeting Operational Excellence goals and achieving the highest level of customer
satisfaction.
9. Complies with and supports the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of a safe working environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Educational: Bachelor's degree or above, major in mechanical or electronic.
Experience: More than 3 years related experience.

2. Demonstrated experience in motivating, mentoring employees and meeting business objectives.
3. Demonstrated problem resolution skills i.e., 7D, 5P, 5-why etc.
4. Good time management and organizational skills.
5. Able to operate PC based software programs and operate automated business systems.
6. Strong manufacturing and business knowledge.
7. Capable of being certified on lean manufacturing principles, HAZCOM and SPC is desired.
Management experience is desired.
