职位描述:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:
1. Provides direction and leadership to the Braking production team.
2. Provides leadership and set standards for performance in the area of Braking production, periodically review reports on department performance and key business indicators.
3. Lead the Operating & Strategic plan preparations and present to AP Management.
4. At some stage take responsibility for new businesses by working with other functions.
5. Assist AP Braking business team in developing Braking business opportunities and operational strategies to maximize growth and profitability. Prepare and present operating and capital expenditure budgets to AP Braking business leadership for approval.
6. Continually seek improved methods with a view to reduce costs, improve service level and reduce operational risk.
7. Ensure compliance to all TRW's Legal & Ethical Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
8. Participates in weekly CQA meetings, weekly reviews with program management / purchasing on project progress.
9. Participate in out of hours meetings to suit EU and NA time zones.
10. Optimize direct, in-direct and salary headcount based on benchmarking with other AP sites.
11. Improve the efficiency of the plant and maximize the profitability.
12. Ensuring 100% customer deliveries are met by working with CD team.
 
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Educational: Recognized University Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering, Business Administration.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of operational experience in automotive industry.
- Previous management experience is an added advantage.
- Experience of customer driven operations (Quality standards, etc.).
Operations and Engineering experience a high volume manufacturer.
