职位描述:
SUMMARY:
Procure capital or other designated materials for all Business Units, with full responsibility for supplier selection, contract negotiations and supplier management/development.

Task Description:
Purchasing:
1. Search potential suppliers if none available on current certified suppliers'data base; perform FBA and certify supplier. Full responsibility for supplier management/development. Conducts audits as necessary to ensure supplier remains certified to meet WII requirements.
2. Prepare requisitions, attaching specification; negotiate contract terms and conditions; negotiate prices with agreed to continuous improvement targets with supplier; create supply agreement/Pos.
3. In working with other Business Units, sources, manages and administers various purchase orders, supply agreements, etc., with Asian suppliers, to reduce the net cost of acquisition.
4. Recommends strategy opportunities to other Business Units to accomplish the goals/continuous initiatives of each Business Unit.
5. Ensure supplier clearly understands WII requirements including specifications; full responsibility for supplier performance including quality/delivery/service.
6. Support lead-time and cost reduction objectives; document departmental cost savings initiatives.
7. Work closely with Project Leaders to ensure timeliness of deliveries are in synch with project plans.
8. Negotiate terms and conditions for goods and services with suppliers consistent with WII policies and procedures. Create Preferred Supplier Agreements, Long Term Contracts as required.
9. Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical issues, delivery problems and resolve other problems with goods and services. Responsibility for full supply chain management.

Supplier Development:
1. Plans, improves and leads supplier Business Assessments to include quality, leadership, cost and delivery reviews during the supplier selection and management stage, resulting in the accountability for the recommendation related to new supplier selection in partnership with the NABU Purchasing team.
2. Accountable to work in partnership in the area of Supplier Quality Management with various teams within  supporting plant teams on Supplier quality issues, leading, implementing/verifying corrective actions and identifying required training.
3. Assesses and provides reports on quality, leadership, cost and delivery during the supplier selection process. Recommends suppliers that meet established quality requirements for inclusion in the  supply base.
4. Liaises continuously with suppliers to exchange information and assist with the development and implementation of improvement strategies, both preventive and corrective actions, and to monitor performance over time.
5. Liaises with Materials and Procurement to improve quality and process capabilities.

Other:
1. Supports and participates in the Continuous Improvement Process.
2. Complies with company policies and procedures.
3. Performs other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of direct purchasing experience
· Familiar with TS16949 requirements
· Automotive industry experience an asset
· Strong English language skills are a must
· Willingness to work flexible hours
