Job Description  Infrastructure Solutions Account Management - Sr Manager I

Manages the integration and/or development and delivery of a discrete deliverable directly to a customer, or in support of a major enterprise-wide program. Ensures that customer needs are satisfied through providing specific deliverables. These individuals are responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements. The major emphasis is on management and coordination tasks. Manages efforts of Perot Systems, customer and third-party vendors as well as assure that an integrated software and hardware solution is provided to meet the customer’s need. Includes responsibility for technical development. At the higher level, incumbents are instrumental in overall planning and selling of services. Develops proposals for integrated hardware, software and business process solutions to meet customer's needs. Orchestrates company and third party efforts to analyze customer needs directly.
Typical Duties
1. Identifies and assigns priorities for project accomplishment to optimize schedules, budgets, and technical excellence.
2. Produces professional appearing deliverables, on time and with appropriate review prior to delivery.
3. Organizes or modifies staff, as required, to complete assigned projects within time and budget constraints.
4. Provides marketing support by identifying potential business opportunities, within the immediate work environment.
5. Maintains close contact with customer representatives to identify and respond to client requests.
6. Defines and ensures commitment of internal and third party resources to support the sale and delivery of the product. Obtains company, customer and third party vendor sign-off.  


Job Responsibilities  This senior function, experienced IT professional, reporting into the Director of Infrastructure Services for EMEA and emerging IS Countries in EMEA and APJ, will be primarily responsible for providing the framework and IS local point of contact for Service Delivery across APJ and will be focused on initiating and developing IS capabilities within the spectrum of our global Service Catalogue in regions where business growth is expected.
The function will provide a local point of contact for the LE and Public Business Units until scale determines separate additional leadership is required. Execution of plans will be in line with the global IS Delivery leadership’s strategy and intent.
The leader will be experienced in coordinating multiple functions within a complex matrixed organization and to provide leadership in establishing services driven by market and business demand in the focus countries in the APJ region.
The function will be responsible for maximizing the cost benefit and quality of delivery by ensuring efficient mix of various skills across the APJ region whilst leveraging our global delivery eco-system tools and practices to ensure business needs are met.
The function will also be required to support new business opportunities that include IS related Services and provide a workforce management function to better track growth in the region. Assisting and facilitating with the build out and roll-out of new IS product offerings within the region will form a significant part of the role as the legacy Dell and legacy Perot organization integrate.
Additionally, the function will provide Delivery guidance as regards broader IS capability to the legacy Commercial and Financial Services Leadership teams in support of their goals.
Financial tasks, including preparation of departmental budget, forecasts & variance reports aligned with the regional business units, will be a requirement of the function and that will be coordinated in conjunction with global IS leadership and the respective finance functions. Adhoc reporting at various levels will also be a responsibility of this function
The Leader, who is an ideally a long term IT professional and practitioner, will support the Commercial and Financial Services Leadership in developing and closing business opportunities with current and targeted customers.
Manage the staffing for new and existing business opportunities, ensuring quality delivery whilst ensuring maximized utilization will be key to success within the role.
The leader will seek opportunities to establish a well rounded globalized model and any initiate reviews and cost savings initiatives.
The function will be expected to review all Deal Certifications relevant to APJ working closely with regional leadership and assure local rates are developed and being proposed within deals as and when relevant.
Furthermore, the leader will ensure that deals reflect appropriate levels of support, staffing, and technical services in conjunction with the Tower leadership.
Prepares goals and Individual Development Plans for Shared Services Technical Managers and other direct reports, as well as performs mid-year & annual performance reviews as teams grow.
Collaborate with global Delivery Centre leadership as required to ensure understanding of Public, Commercial and Financial deliverables and understand various site requirements. Seeks training opportunities for the development of Public, Commercial and Financial technical staffing across the region to ensure that the customer’s and business unit/market trends are being kept within our reach. 
Required Skills  Previous strong Programme Management skills
Infrastructure Management skills. Ideally a domain expert in multiple domains previously
Systems Integration experience and knowledge
Strong negotiation skills
Strong business leader with demonstrative entrepreneurial expertise
Strong communication skills, (written and verbal)
Previous experience in the set up and delivery of onshore and remote infrastructure Services
A demonstrable experience in Pre-Sales or New Business Development, ideally as an IS Solution Architect
Good people leadership skills

Experience operating at CXO level

Extra language skills (Mandarin/Chinese) + English 
Minimum Education  ITIL experience and exposure
Ideally a post graduate business degree or equivalent
