Job Profile Summary
Manager I provides overall support and management of assigned associates with responsibility for interviewing, hiring and staffing during all hours of operations; quality improvement activities and meeting client/customer service expectations. Oversees team to ensure established Revenue Cycle guidelines, policies and procedures are followed in order to maintain the integrity of information utilized for scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and accurate claims submission. Acts as a professional liaison between other Revenue Cycle teams and between hospital departments; recognizing opportunities for improvement, increased efficiency and effectiveness of current processes. Ensures department productivity and quality assurance standards are met in addition to compliance with applicable state/federal regulations. Provides guidance and direction to associates who are responsible to oversee the day to day operations. Responsible for development and facilitation of onsite revenue cycle training and education to ensure seamless knowledge transfer of best practices and systems procedures. Conducts periodic meetings with associates in preparation for annual performance review.
