| o DPS Requirements o Microsoft Requirements ? Drive all database design and configuration activities in partnership with customer counterparts ? Work in conjunction with the Technical PM to keep the project on schedule and overcome any obstacles ? Indentify, analyze, track and report system or related problems and issues to the Technical Project Manager ? Educate the Customer Database Administrator/System Architect on the Amalga architecture ? Facilitate the planning, configuration and testing of database connections to Amalga ? Provide guidance through knowledge transfer to support the following areas as they relate to Amalga: • Microsoft SQL Server Administration • Backup and disaster recovery planning • Disk storage requirements for the database • Configuration design for the databases • Routine maintenance tasks (purging old files and checking disk space) • Database security • Troubleshoot database issues • SQL queries and stored procedures • SQL Reporting Services ? Support system testing, ensuring proper database operation ? Track feature enhancements and/or document problems, captured during implementation for action by the Amalga Development team ? Provide support during go-live ? Work with Technical PM to obtain sign-offs |
