Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the full production area, with several channel managers reporting to you.
· Being part of the management team you will ensure team work is used in the optimal way to reach the factory results in all areas
· Have the overall responsibility for all resources assigned to the channels, in order to achieve all quality, cost and service objectives
· Develop a high efficient manufacturing environment, encourage improvements throughout the factory and implement manufacturing excellence
· Make sure bearings are produced according to the agreed production plan and to the quality standards
· Initiate and improve organizational and operational methods and tools, in order to optimize the utilization of the production performance factors.
· Optimize the utilization of resources in term of people/machines and material among the channels.
· Be responsible for staff hiring, training and development, including performance reviews and IDPs for all direct reports.
· Develop, coach and motivate channel employees
· Run their operations according to the SKF Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the SKF Quality Management System. If the operation is EHS certified, work according to the SKF EHS Management System.
· Be responsible for at the beginning developing and then follow-up all procedures related to its department.
· To take the responsibility to zero accident performance Production department
Requirements:
· Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· Above 10 years experience in production management
· Various and deep experiences of various manufacturing activities
· Successful experience in leading, developing and managing teams with good interpersonal skills
· Good understanding of industrial environment
· Be able to identify which tools to introduce and when, for result maximization
· Experience in bearing production is a plus
· Highly responsible, and cost consciousness
· Good coordination, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
· Fluent in English (spoken and written)
· Good command of PC skills
