HR Manager
Lead from an HR perspective the start-up of the manufacturing activity in Wuhan and bring the new site from a project phase to full operation.
Build an organization able to sustain the ambitious growth plans over the STRAP period, in line with key processes around people development, evaluation, operating systems, compensation & benefits.
Start up activities:
- set up basic HR policies for the legal entity, including Internal regulations, in line with company and local country requirements;
- partner with HSE manager & HSE TS organization to ensure all legal and requirements around HSE are met in the new facility;
- develops, with C&B COE, the policies for Compensation and Benefits;
- develops, with HRS, the individual labor contracts;
- develops, with payroll, the T&A and payroll for the new entity;
- represents the company, from HR perspective, towards local authorities and builds partnership with them;
- support, with GMS, expatriation in Slovakia of key roles; acts as main point of contact for any local HR support required by the external HTT
project team;
• Staffing:
- works, together with Staffing COE, in defining best strategy to attract top talents from the market;
- partners with business in the interview process;
- responsible for University relations;
- develops relationship with key highschools in the region;
- propose, conduct and implement actions to build company name in the labor market;
• Training:
- build and implement local training plan in accordance with country specific legal provisions;
- build and implement, together with OD COE “on board” training plan for new hires;
- build and implement, together with business HR, the technical training plan for all employees, including on the job training in other HTT facilities;
- responsible for the annual training plan of the plant, in accordance with HOS requirements;
• General management and organization development
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR related areas, experience in manufacturing environment essential, automotive industry would be a plus;
• Previous relevant experience with modern production management tools (Continuous Improvement, Visual Factory, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in people management
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of good practice in HR management, particularly with respect to: Recruitment and resourcing; Compensation and reward; Learning and talent management; Employee/ Labor Relation; Organizational planning and change – tailored to local country realities;
• Strong project management skills and previous experience;
• Excellent communication skills with people of different backgrounds; global mindset and ability to operate in a multicultural environment;
• Successful track record of initiating People strategies to support business growth
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, understanding of business and execution excellence
• Strong capability in managing dynamic and matrix relations with different stakeholders, ability to work independent with remote supervision;
• Leadership building/management (at all levels), strong business connectivity and influencing skills working with senior leaders
