Job Description: 1.Champion the Program Management Discipline throughout instruction, coaching and mentoring to ensuring commonality across all programs. This includes XXX specific guidelines defined in BOS specifically the PLUS process and associated training of these techniques. 2.Supports BU Commercial Directors and Purchasing Department in the development of commercial strategies as it relates to Customer and Suppler issues. Support Phase 1 deliverables as required. 3.Leads Program Manager development and succession planning efforts. Identify training needs of each individual such that they have the tools, coaching and opportunity to 4.Monitors and promote Esprit de Corps: Definition, A common spirit of comradeship, enthusiasm, and devotion to a cause among the members of a group. 5.Manage the team to submit monthly (Not limited to) Gate Workbook report to ePMO server by updating the Gate Workbook in a timely manner 6.Schedules and leads monthly Program Reviews for each "A" and “B” rank program for the purpose of assessing status to plan (PAP) in accordance with the project scope agreed to with our customer per the SOW. Monitor "C" level programs to ensure progression matches plan. 7.Gate and Phase assessments to follow same basic guidelines as Program Reviews. DPM to 8.DPM to be knowledgeable as to Who, What, When and how with regards to issues identified by Program Teams resulting in potential violation of critical path and unacceptable level of risk. 9.Evaluates all PD3/PD4 requests with BU leadership comparing proposals against customer commitments and critical path timing. 10.Ensures that program department is adequately and efficiently staffed in accordance with company’s business strategies 11.Be responsible for department budgeting and ensures that actual cost is under control 12.Improves Program competitiveness and customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement activities and inspiring innovations of ingenious products, servicessolutions and processes 13.employee development by offering proper training, coaching and job rotation opportunities; ensures that Performance Review, Succession Planning and other HR programs are implemented
