Job Summary
The Senior Systems Analyst Web-based\back-end works with the Business and the Development team to capture and clarify functional requirements as well as produces detailed system requirements. Coordinates/controls several implementation projects and/or implements extremely complex projects. Analyzes requirements, develops project plans, test application programs for improved productivity enterprise wide, and provides highest level of application support and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist with 8+ years of experience, who has transitioned into Analyst role from pure hands-on coding, to step in as a productive contributor and innovator to a growing team.


Responsibilities
1. Evaluates business requirements and prepares detailed system specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs.
2. Constructs high level system integration charts and workflow diagrams by analyzing requirements studying system capabilities.
3. Work with 3rd Party Vendors and development teams to ensure technical requirements and constraints are understood and followed.
4. Improve systems processed by understanding current systems along with their informational content in order to propose new processes that are either more efficient/effective.
5. Outlines implementation plans of technical solutions for timing, pricing and resourcing and potentially lead, facilitate or serve on, cross-functional teams to translate business needs and technology directions into project plans and specifications.
6. Perform problem root cause analysis of production issues.
7.Assist with developing project plans/timelines of solutions for business problems/opportunities with technology. May assume 'ownership' of these projects or pass ownership to appropriate IT Project Manager.
8. Communicate often and regularly to project stakeholders with regard to project status.


Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with the implementation of large scale web-based applications that include customer contact centers, sales, marketing and customer analysis. Strong background in Web Application Development is highly preferred - prior hands on coding experience required. Extensive experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project is required.
